Motorola Moto X Review
Motorola Moto X is here and it is all set to battle out with some of the biggest cellphone brands that are in the market at the moment. The features and specifications that are available for this phone definitely make it a top contender for one of the best phones that were released this year. Let us take a closer look at the handset and see what it has to offer in terms of features and specifications.
Design
Motorola has never failed to deliver in terms of design. The back panel of the handset has a unique design and is structured like a wave. It is made of composite material, so it does not have the tacky plasticky feel to it. There is a certain holographic effect that is seen from certain angles and that adds to the beauty of this cell.
Display
This handset is equipped with a 4.7 inch display. It is an AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1280 by 720p which is impeccable. The colours are really bright and you will enjoying viewing images and watching videos on the screen. Each pixel on the screen has a sub pixel and that projects its own primary colours.
Operating System and Use Interface
Motorola Moto X is based on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It is one of the best operating systems and when paired with the hardware that this handset packs, you are definitely going to fall in love with the handset.
The overall feel of the handset is similar to the Nexus handsets that are in the market. One of the drawbacks that I notice in the handset is that you cannot launch any apps from the lockscreen. The latest Google virtual keyboard has been added to the handset and that makes life easier for all of us.
Camera
The handset sports a 10 MP rear facing camera and that is the most bombastic feature of all. The picture quality is unsurpassed and there are countless features and special effects that you can add to the pictures that make them as good as professional quality pictures. There is one feature that is lacking for this camera though and that is the Moto Maker feature.
To encapsulate, this is one of the handsets to watch out for in the time to come.
